Future Face

Brand design • 2022 - 2024

The Future Face Foundation is an organization for and by young people and has organized various parties, events, and workshops. Future Face's mission was to give young people, based on mutual connection and trust, a place, both physically and online, where they truly belong and can be themselves, in every way.

Future Face brand guidelines

Future Face logo

Future Face embodies a powerful, youthful, and vibrant image. The foundation was formed by a diverse group of young people and a history steeped in diverse development. My challenge with this rebranding? Translating all these unique influences and ideas into a visual identity that both respects its history and radiates the energy of today.

Color palette with Future Face's corporate colors; black (#0F0F0F), pink (#EE2852), blue (#1256D0), mint (#CFFCFF) and white (#FFFFFF)

The foundation always puts young people first. That's why black has remained the base: a blank canvas where their energy can fully express itself. To create more unity within the brand family, I extended the dark blue of the sub-brand Speakerz into the main identity.

From that base, the rest of the palette logically followed. Pink was retained as a powerful contrast color and a nod to the brand's history. Mint is the perfect complement; this neon-like hue provides a fresh twist on the blue and pops even more against a dark background than plain white.

A list of example text in different fonts. The descriptions read 'SF Movie Poster - logo', 'Bebas Neue - headings', 'Sequel-100 black - subheadings' and 'Atkinson Hyperlegible - body'.

The chosen typography forms a versatile foundation for every message. The typefaces are contrasting yet closely related, creating a clear visual hierarchy. With the foundation's sustainability in mind, I opted for open-source typefaces. Atkinson Hyperlegible, in particular, strikes the perfect balance between a powerful image and optimal accessibility for all young people.
